Stevie Wonder to wed for third time in Jamaican ceremony
AMERICAN superstart Stevie Wonder will be getting married for the third time in a star-studded beachside ceremony in Jamaica, according to Britian’s Daily Mail.
The newspaper reported that Wonder’s marriage to Tomeeka Robyn Bracy will take place on June 17.
“It is going to be a huge, incredibly fun wedding and Stevie is flying out all his nearest and dearest,” an unmamed guest told the
Mail.
“The guest list is pretty spectacular, and there will be a couple of surprise performances on the night,” the guest was quoted as sayng. “Stevie has said he may well get up and perform a number, but hasn’t said what song yet. “There will be a huge party afterwards as well, and the whole day will be about love, laughter and family; Stevie is very close to his, and they will all have a role to play on the big day.”
At 42, Bracy is 24 years her beau’s junior — Wonder, born Steveland Morris, turns 67 next month — but the pair already have two children together. Their youngest, a girl called Nia, was born in 2014.
The Motown legend, who has won 22 Grammys and sold over 110 million records worldwide, has nine children from five women.
His former partners include Melody McCully and singer Yolanda Simmons with whom he had a daughter, musician Aisha Morris, 39, who has accompanied him on tour.
His most recent ex-wife, Kai Millard Morris, received a chunk of his ˆ£85 million fortune as well as spousal and child support for their sons, Kailand, 17, and Mandla, 11.
