Jahranimo releases new video

Reggae singer and songwriter Jahranimo has released the video for his single Rough.

The single is from his album Evolving, which is available on all major digital media outlets. That set boasts 20 tracks and features acts including Christini, Zukie Joseph, Lil’Bit Shepherd, and Grammy-nominated artiste Jah Cure.

“This project is very close to my heart because each single appeals to my audience in a different way and I share my own experiences in every word sung. The hard copies for the album will be available by August for those who want to purchase it in stores.

Rough, especially, was composed at a time when I was going through many trials and as such, I chose to share the visuals for it with my listeners,” said Jahranimo.

The St James native shot the video on location in the scenic province of British Columbia, Canada, and officially released it on February 1, 2017.

“I was thrilled to have my video directed by Wayne Anderson, and it came out just how I envisioned it. Like the song, the video was done to provoke the thought of my listeners and to encourage them at the same time,” said the singer.

Since its release, the video has racked up more than 150,000 views though various social media and streaming services online.

“It’s truly an amazing feeling to see how widely received my music is. My fans have been pushing this project since inception and I am thankful for their undying support,” he shared.

Jahranimo, who is hoping to break ground on the French market with his album, is working tirelessly to make his name among the greats in the music industry.
