#IAAFWorldRelays: Bronze for Jamaica in mixed relay
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica grabbed bronze in the mixed 4x400m, the final event at World Relays in the Bahamas.
The quartet of Javere Bell, Ristananna Tracey, Natoya Goule and Jamari Rose in that order, clocked 3:20.26 for third.
The event which was being contested for the very first time was won by host country the Bahamas in 3:14.42. The United States of America were second in 3:17.29. It was an event in which male ran against female and saw the advantage swinging to and fro.
The Americans won the Golden Baton with 60 points for the third time running. Jamaica was second once again with 39 points while Australia was third on 24 points. Poland was fourth on 23 points with Trinidad and Tobago completing the top five with 17 points.
