Ms Sandals Ochi crowning tonight

MISS Sandals Ochi 2017 will be crowned at a glittering finale of the pageant to be held at “The Pavilion” at Sandals Ochi tonight, starting at 7:00 pm.

The 13 females vying for the title are: Kerri-Ann Morrison, Miss New Hope Pharmacy; Novea Palmer, Miss Miss T’s Kitchen; Gerine Thompson, Miss Beauty Statement Salon; Kadine Montgomery, Miss Family Care Medical; Eshaan Palmer, Miss Team Elclasico; Natalie Wilson, Miss Irons Mechanical Services; Jazeene Witter, Miss Attitude b T;Shanell Baccas, Miss Tan Lines; Jovian Davis, Miss Margaritaville; Sherona Carter, Miss Zedof; Sueshana Thomas, Miss Mystic Mountain; Celia Marriott, Miss Hawkeye; and Jacinth Taylor, Miss St Ann Municipal Corporation.

Ian Spencer, regional public relations manager for Sandals Ocho Rios region, said all is now set for what promises to be a grand affair, as apart from the contestants, added entertainment will include the amazing Too Cool Dance troupe from Dancing Dynamite; Beaches Ocho Rios Dancers, Extreme Pressure, and male vocalist Akeen Fennel just to name a few.

According to Spencer, the contestants have been preparing under the stewardship of Entertainment Division Manager Garret Bailey and are looking forward to the grand finals.

“Sandals is known for top class productions and this promises to live up to our high standards and traditions,” Spencer said. “The contestants have had a great time leading up to the finals with tours in Kingston and Montego Bay and are excited at the prospect of being crowned Miss Sandals Ochi 2017.”

Other major sponsors are Dolphin Cove, Yaaman, Appliance Traders Limited, Diamonds Forever and Andy’s, while casual wear will be provided by NuEGO Boutique. Evening gowns are being designed by Ashley Martin and swimwear by Khrishantii from designer Khristinea Benjamin of Ocho Rios.
