Facey Commodity wins Kraft Heinz Distributor Award
JAMAICA’S Facey Commodity has been named the winner of The Kraft Heinz Company (KHC) 2016 Gold Distributor Award.
The local firm beat out 12 other KHC distributors in the Caribbean and Latin America region vying for the top spot to win the award from the Kraft Heinz Company — the fifth largest food and beverage company in the world.The award, considered the standard for all Kraft Heinz distributors, falls under KHC’s distributors’ Performance Excellence (PEX) programme, which is geared towards providing sustainable positive results for distributors while aligning them with the processes at Kraft Heinz.Chairman of Facey Commodity Patrick Scott noted that the PEX programme operates in a competitive framework, where distributors within a region compete for the PEX Award.He said that the award is multifaceted as it focuses on all areas of the distributors’ business operations, inclusive of purchasing, sales, merchandising and marketing.“I am absolutely proud of the team at Facey Commodity, and you can rest assured that we will continue to better ourselves across the board,” Scott said.Catalina Chabur, business development manager at the Kraft Heinz Company, lauded Facey Commodity for its hard work, dedication and personal inspiration.“I know it wasn’t easy but as I always say, if you want to go fast, go alone.
