Three people killed in Spanish Town attack
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – Detectives assigned to the Spanish Town Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are probing the killing of three people, including a female and a juvenile, and the injuring of another female on Jones Avenue, Spanish Town, St Catherine, about 10:25 pm yesterday.
Dead are: 43-year-old Yvette Bailey, 24-year-old Mario Burkette, otherwise called Rocky, and 14-year-old Travis Labbon, all of a Jones Avenue address.According to reports from the Spanish Town CIB, residents heard explosions and called the police. Upon the arrival of the lawmen, Labbon, Bailey and Burkette were seen at their home with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The injured female was taken to hospital where she was treated and released.Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call the police at 119, 811, 984-2874 or the nearest police station.
