Deejay Eyesus is concerned about persons who worship vanity. He outlines his concerns on his latest single Neva Judge , which recently topped the reggae chart in Canada. The song is produced by Konsequence Muzik.

Neva Judge is a reality tune and it was inspired by looking at how people worship vanity more than life,” he said.A video for the song which was directed by Wayne South, was recently released. It was shot in sections of Waltham Park Road in Kingston.Eyesus, whose real name is Ricardo Rhoden, is 27 years old. Originally from D’Aguilar Road in the Waltham Park area, he migrated to Canada 14 years ago.Since relocating to Toronto, he has worked with producers including Red Boom, Smoke Shop Production and Fizzle Productions.“It has been a rough journey for me, and challenging, but I’m just putting in the hard work to achieve success,” said Eyesus.Currently working on his first EP, he is also scheduled to embark on a Caribbean tour in September, which will see him performing in Bermuda, St Vincent, St Lucia and Grenada.– Kevin Jackson
