Gun, ammo seizure in Mudd Town
THE St Andrew Central police on Wednesday arrested one man following the seizure of one firearm and several rounds of ammunition in Mudd Town, Kingston 7.
The Half-Way-Tree Police reported that about 8:56 pm officers were on patrol in the area when a man, who aroused their suspicion, was accosted and searched. During the search, one Sig Sauer p-32 semi-automatic pistol and 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition were taken from him. He was subsequently arrested. His identity is being withheld pending further investigations, police say.
