Six horses claimed on Saturday
Six horses were claimed on the 11-race programme at Caymanas Park last Saturday.
Cheers was claimed from Roy Mathews by Johnny Wilmot for Carlton Watson for $425,000; Stir It Up was taken from Christopher Pierre by Donovan Plummer for Pink Alaina for $450,000; and Ballon d’Or was claimed from Randolph Scott by Robert Darby Sr for himself for $450,000, from the first race.
In the third race, Lorne Kirlew claimed No Money Friend for Dennis Thwaites from Patrick Taylor; Paul Smith took Maria’s Glory for himself from Denrick Chambers; and Welsh Soutar lost Demolition Boy to Cashbert Khwalsingh for Gilbert Khwalsingh. All claims were made for $250,000.
