MONTEGO BAY, St James — Laughter and music will be the highlight at Pier One, Montego Bay, on Sunday for the LOL Comedy Tour.

Emmanuella “This is not my real face” Samuel will be joined by Peter and Gramps Morgan of Morgan Heritage for a night of true family entertainment.

Samuel will also be joined by compatriots Mark Angell and Denielson Igwe from the Mark Angell Comedy Group in Nigeria, as well as top local comedians Christopher ‘Johnny’ Daley, Dalton Spence, Lemon and Leighton Smith.

“We’re looking to offer Jamaicans a solid avenue for some good, wholesome family entertainment this holiday season,” said Danielia McLean, marketing manager at Tango’s Entertainment Limited, organisers of the tour.

“Just about everyone in Jamaica knows Emmanuella and her hilarious videos with Mark Angell, and people have been looking forward to seeing her perform here in Jamaica. What’s even better is that she goes up alongside some of Jamaica’s top comedians, which will certainly have people laughing out loud the entire show.”

After stopping at Pier One, the LOL Comedy Tour will continue to May Pen on Saturday, August 12, before closing in Ocho Rios at Turtle River Park on Sunday, August 13.

Adult pre-sold tickets cost $2,000 and $2,500 at the gate, while VIP tickets go for $3,500. Meanwhile, children’s ticket will cost $1,000 and $1,500 for VIP.

Part proceeds from the LOL Comedy Tour will go towards Jamaica’s Special Olympics team and their quest to the Summer Games in Dubai in 2018.
