LONDON, United Kingdom — Jamaicans and the rest of the world will be watching as the IAAF 2017 World Championships gets underway in London, United Kingdom today.

The greatest sprinter in history, Usain Bolt, who is a favourite among Jamaicans and foreigners alike, will bow into action in the men’s 100m today along with Yohan Blake and Julian Forte on a day when seven Jamaicans will be action.

Britain’s Mo Farah, like Bolt, will be bringing the curtains down on his track career at these championships as well and will try to capture his 10th successive world or Olympic title in the 10,000 metres today.
