Professor Graham Serjeant, former chairman of the Sickle Cell Trust (Jamaica), and a lead researcher of sickle-cell disease in the Caribbean region, shares with Michelle-Ann Letman, assistant manager, Sagicor Foundation, an information booklet on sickle-cell disease and some of the research projects undertaken by the trust in Jamaica. Sagicor Foundation donated $2 million to the trust to support the continued research projects being administered through the trust.
