#London2017: Ristananna sole Jamaican to contest 400mH final
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Ristananna Tracey clocked 54.79 secomds to win her semi final heat of the women’s 400 metre hurdles.
Teammate Leah Nugent placed sixth in her heat with a time of 56.19s, which was insufficient for her to advance as a fast loser.
The other Jamaican, Rhonda Whyte, was fifth in her heat and was later disqualified. The reason for her disqualification is unknown at this time.
The final is slated for Thursday at 3:35 pm.
