Gunman arrested in ‘Common’; firearm seized
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The Constant Spring police this morning seized a firearm and arrested a man in the Red Hills Road area of St Andrew popularly known as “Common”.
Reports are that about 2:05 am a team of police officers was on patrol in the Donmair Common community when a man was seen behaving suspiciously. He was accosted and searched and the firearm, a Glock pistol along with fifteen 9 mm rounds and two magazines, were found in his possession.
He was taken into custody; however, his identity is being withheld pending further investigations.
