Education minister to tour four schools on opening day of school year
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Education Minister Senator Ruel Reid is set to tour four schools on the opening day of the 2017/18 school year tomorrow.
According to an advisory from the ministry, Reid, along with a team including Dr Grace McLean, Region 6 Director Elaine Roulston and Region 1 Director Kasan Troupe, along with Deputy Chief Education Officer Dorrett Campbell, will meet and greet staff and student representatives at the four schools in St Catherine and the Corporate Area.
The schools slated for a visit are: Old Harbour High School, Old Harbour Primary, Half Way Tree Primary and New Day Primary and Junior High.
