Woman, 38-y-o son shot dead in Mandeville
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A Manchester woman and her 38-year-old were shot dead in the parish Saturday morning.
The Corporate Communications Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force has reported that residents alerted the police after hearing explosions about 1:00am at the house where the two lived on Cedar Garden Road, just outside the town of Mandeville.
On arrival of the lawmen the bodies of Doreen Hamilton, 57, and her son, Orane Hamilton, were reportedly found with multiple gunshot wounds.
Detectives from the Mandeville Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for anyone who may be able to assist them to make contact via the Stay Alert App or at 962-2832.
