Man arrested after joint forces find shotgun in MoBay

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica — The police are reporting that detectives from the Narcotics Division along with members of the Jamaica Defence Force and the St James Operations Support Team, seized a shotgun and six rounds of ammunition in Wagon Wheel, Montego Bay, St James yesterday.

One man was taken into custody in relation to the find.

Reports are that between the hours of 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, a Wagon Wheel premises was searched and the weapon found.

The man’s name is being withheld pending further investigations.
