Gas prices up $0.48, diesel up $0.76
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline and diesel, effective Thursday, October 19, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $116.51 and $119.35 per litre, respectively, up by $0.48 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $113.87 per litre following an increase of $0.76, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.35, and will be sold for $119.30 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.47 and will be sold for $94.43 per litre. Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $50.94 per litre, up by $0.64 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $54.92 per litre after an increase of $0.38.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
