New FLA board to be announced tomorrow

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Ministry of National Security says it will be announcing the new board of the Firearm Licensing Authority (FLA) tomorrow.

The new board will be made public at the ministry’s conference room at its Oxford Road offices at 10:00 am, an advisory said.

The previous board resigned after the Authority came under intense public scrutiny in July for the alleged issuance of licences to people deemed unfit.
