Cornwall meet Spot Valley High in ISSA schoolboy basketball
SPOT VALLEY, St James — Cornwall College will play a double-header against St James High and Spot Valley at Spot Valley High this afternoon as the ISSA Western Conference schoolboy basketball competition continues.
Cornwall College will take a perfect-five win record into their Under-16 game against winless St James High, while they get ready to face defending champions Herbert Morrison on Monday.
William Knibb will host York Castle High in a double- today as well.
On Tuesday, Cornwall College had walkover wins in their two games against William Knibb Memorial, who turned up for the games without their ISSA identification cards.
Meanwhile, at the Montego Bay Cricket Club on Tuesday, Rhodes Hall scored a big 72-33 win over St James High to rebound from their loss to Cornwall College on Saturday.
Javani Davis scored 18 points to lead Rhodes Hall, Davanie McPherson had a double-double 15 points and 13 rebounds, while Akeem Davis had 11 points.
Anthony Mitchell scored 16 points for St James High and Nathan Lawrence scored 11 points.
Tomorrow Muschett High will host Herbert Morrison in a double-header at Wakefield, Trelawny, while Rhodes Hall play Holland in an Under-16 game at Green Pond, before the home team face Holland in the Under-19 game.
