Full house at Yesterday’s Best of the 90s
GLK Entertainment promised patrons the Best of the 90s at their most recent staging of Yesterday at the Mas Camp in St Andrew. And that they delivered to a jam-packed venue, despite outbreaks of showers.
With the likes of DJ Marvin, DJ Denvo and ZIP FM’s old school veteran Johnny Kool, Yesterday was certainly on point.
As the disc jocks took patrons back in time to relive the hits that defined the 1990s, women danced up a storm while men ‘bussed a blank’ each time their favourite tunes were unleashed.
Genres including house music, hip-hop, dancehall, soca and reggae kept patrons dancing despite the wet conditions.
‘The turnout was great and the patrons came out in the pouring rain. This speaks to the strength of the brand,” said promoter Gyete Ghartey of GLK Entertainment.
Sponsored by Wray and Nephew white Overproof Rum, Yesterday the Best of the 90s is held 3 times annually. The next staging is set for December 23 at the Mas Camp.
“We have a special treat in store for the patrons,” Ghartey promised.
