President of the University of Technology, Jamaica, Professor Stephen Vasciannie raps with Glenmuir High School students who are enrolled in the Principal’s Honour society. The students, along with principal, Dr Marsha Smalling (second left, front row) paid a courtesy call on the president last week at the Papine campus. Students on the Principal’s Honour Roll have earned an overall average of at least 85 per cent for the academic year. The group comprises 63 students from first to sixth form. Vasciannie engaged the honour students in a motivational talk on historical information regarding education in Jamaica, maintaining high standards and values for excellence, and also scholarship and other opportunities they can access en route to achieving their full potential.
