Repair work disrupts Portmore water supply

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising customers in sections of Portmore, St Catherine that a disruption in their water supply is due to emergency repairs now being undertaken to a damaged valve.

The company is estimating that the necessary repairs will be completed by 6:00 pm this evening.

Areas affected are: Greater Portmore, Naggo Head, Old Braeton, Congreve Park, Silverstone, Portmore Pines, Monza, Daytona, Ascott and West Cumberland.
