Big crowd, high energy at 11:59
PATRONS attending the New Year’s Eve party 11:59 were in for a musical feast. High energy music, great vibes and non-stop dancing were served on musical platters.
Promoted by Black Water Entertainment, the event took place at the St Lucia parking lot in New Kingston.
The fun was guided by turntable technicians including the YVA-nominated Rebel Sound, DJ Metro, DJ Alley, and DJ Mac, who injected a kaleidoscope of musical potpourri comprising the latest in dancehall, reggae, hip hop, house, EDM and pop music.
The patrons comprised mostly young adults and college students who partied until the wee hours of New Year’s Day.
“It was probably the best 11:59 that we have done to date. Since our first staging the party has evolved into being one of the biggest, hypest, and most anticipated events that patrons look forward to on the 31st of December each year,” said promoter Henry Braham.
“Since the party, we have been receiving a lot of calls from persons who said they enjoyed themselves and they plan to come back to the December staging. We are happy the way things turned out and we look forward to providing patrons with another exciting musical experience,” he continued.
11:59 was first held in 2012.
