Radio call-in programmes serving a meal
Dear Editor,
Listening to good radio call-in programmes is a blessing and great entertainment too.
We need to ‘big up’ some of our moderators on our radio programmes in a very special way and let them know that we love and appreciate them and encourage them to continue doing the good work.
For example, listening to Independent Talk each morning, on Power 106 FM, with the very tolerant and compassionate Althea Mackenzie, is like a nice breakfast being given to us.
Also, the Hotline, on RJR, with the very intelligent Emily Shields along with the very experienced Clive Mullings and Orville Taylor, is like a bellyful to us.
The list goes on, too many to name.
And what make these programmes more interesting are the callers, such as Mervis Henry, “Margaret”, “Marie”, “Elaine”, “Mr Know-all”, who leave our bread well-buttered.
I love them all.
