Unidentified man shot dead in Gregory Park
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — The body of an unidentified male was found with gunshot wounds along the Gregory Park main road in St Catherine last night, shortly after residents reportedly heard explosions in the area, the police said.
It is of dark complexion, medium build, about 175 centimetres (5 feet 9 inches) long, with dreadlock hairstyle; it was clad in a brown plaid shirt, black shorts, brown socks and a pair of grey slippers.
Reports from the Caymanas police are that about 7:30 pm, residents heard explosions and summoned them.
On arrival of the lawmen, the body was seen lying on the roadway with gunshot wounds. The scene was processed and it was removed to the morgue pending post mortem examination.
