Hamilton addresses Black Enterprise Entrepreneurship summit in US
Fresh off the success of the most recent staging of The Destination Experience, entrepreneur and investor Kirk-Anthony Hamilton is slated to speak today at Black Enterprise’s Annual Entrepreneurship Summit in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the United States.
“It’s truly an honour to be here, speaking on a national stage in the largest economy in the world,” Hamilton told the Jamaica Observer.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to be sharing Jamaica, the Caribbean and my various business interests with the rest of the world.”
The summit is the largest and most prestigious of its kind, bringing together a large contingent of African-American entrepreneurs and executives from all corners of the United States allowing access to connections, financing, resources and strategic insight for launching or growing new business.
Hamilton is the founder and CEO of the Infiniti Partnership Inc, behind Tech Beach Retreat and the Destination Experience, which have attracted participants that together control more than US$100 billion in investment capital.
Hamilton has been asked to speak on “Growing Pains: The Ebb and Flow of Growing Your Business”.
Other speakers for the weekend summit include Mark Cuban of Shark Tank and owner of the Dallas Mavericks as well as R Donahue Peebles, founder, chairman and CEO of the Peebles Corporation, America’s largest African-American-owned real estate development firm.
