MONTEGO BAY, St James — The Western Basketball Association Elite Basketball League (EBL) resumes this Saturday, after a three-week break with two games at the Montego Bay Cricket Club.

Sav Elite Titans face Holland Saints in the first game at 5:00 pm, followed by Catherine Hall All-Stars and Granville Jaguars two hours later.

These games were the final ones scheduled before the end of the regular season, but the organisers will have to reschedule 17 games before the start of the play-offs.

At the break, defending champions Granville Jaguars led the points standing with 20 after winning all 10 games played, followed by Cricket Club Knights on 17 points, Catherine Hall All-Stars on 16 points and Holland Saints on 14 points, rounding out the top four.

Lucea Flames and Sav-Elite Titans are tied on 11 points, while Inner-city Avalanche and Cornwall Courts Chargers are at the foot of the standings — both on 10 points.

On Saturday Granville Jaguars will be gunning for an 11th-straight win and a second win over Catherine Hall, whom they beat 77-71 in the first round, while Holland Saints had beaten Sav-Elite 66-57.
