Right vibes at Mello Vibes

The ‘Mini Skirt Edition’ of the popular retro party series, Mello Vibes, had patrons in a dancing mood last Saturday at the Mas Camp in New Kingston.

From as early as 11:00 pm, patrons made their way into the venue hoping to secure a space to unwind to hit songs of yesteryear.

“We promised non-stop dancing and it was achieved. The overall vibe was great and we are quite excited about this staging. We always try to make every Mello Vibes better than the one before,” Gyete Ghartey, a prinicpal of GLK Entertainment — event promoters, told the Jamaica Observer.

With the experienced Collin Hines and the in-demand DJ Liquid guiding the musical proceedings, patrons were taken on a musical voyage.

‘The turnout was good. It was a great party, great value for a little bit of money. Everyone danced the night away and enjoyed themselves,” said Ghartey.

Sponsored by Colbeck Jamaica Ginger Wine, patrons enjoyed drink specials throughout the night.

Held multiple times throughout the course of the year, the next staging of Mello Vibes is scheduled for November 24 at the same venue.

“Patrons will leave the party sweating. We guarantee that dancing vibe with each staging,” Ghartey added.
