Usain Bolt Tracks & Records UK open for business

It’s official! Usain Bolt’s Tracks & Records (UBT&R) London is now open for business in the UK. The fourth restaurant under the Tracks & Records chain, and the first on international soil, hosted a series of soft-opening activities the week of October 8 that will continue until the grand opening on November 14 which will see Usain Bolt in attendance.

The first week of soft openings included family, friends, sponsors, vendors, suppliers and well-wishers. British High Commissioner to Jamaica and The Bahamas Asif Ahmad, Premier League players, UK celebrity barber Sheldon HD Cuts, and comedian White Yardie were amongst those spotted.

“This is the first time in history that a Jamaican concept has expanded internationally through a franchise model and the response has been absolutely overwhelming. We had patrons taking two-hour train rides, and some even dressed in Jamaican gear, just to get a taste of real Jamaican vibes at Tracks & Records London. We will continue to use this soft-opening period to ensure that the service, quality and vibes are just right, as we gear up for the grand opening in November.” — Gary Matalon, CEO, FRANJAM Ltd.
