Repair work to return water supply to Washington Blvd completed — NWC
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The National Water Commission (NWC) says that its teams have completed pipe-repair work along the Washington Boulevard in St Andrew to facilitate the restoration of water supply to most communities by 8:00 o’clock tonight, Friday, November 23.
The NWC, in a release this afternoon, noted that some communities were affected by a series of water pipe breaks along the Washington Boulevard which required emergency repair work carried out nightly over the past three days.
In light of the effects of the disruptions, some customers will experience low pressures or see a gradual return of supply over the next 24 hours until the system is fully recharged, the NWC said in its release.
Areas include: sections of Duhaney Park, Washington Gardens, Cooreville Gardens, Molynes Gardens and Moreton Park.
