Performance analysis for Wednesday, November 21, 2018

RACE 1-$180,000 CLAIMING (3-YEAROLDS& UP) 1000METRES/5FURLONGS ROUND Out for only the second time, Dunrobin’s superior conformation was justified with a front-running victory over Determine King, who pursued in vain to finish 5 lengths back in second.

RACE 2-$600-500,000 CLAIMING (3-YEAROLDS& UPWARDS) 1200METRES/6FURLONGS Mr Ambassador led Pakman into the upper stretch but failed to repel his challenge. Lengthening his stride nicely, Pakman sprinted away to win by over four lengths.

RACE 3-MAIDEN CONDITION (3-YEAR-OLDS) – 1820 METRES /9FURLONGS&25YARDS Acting as pacemaker for stablemate Perfect Union ensured there was a good pace for 1,300 metres before way was given to Pure Heart followed by Dare To Speak. Isotope commenced a strong run from 600 metres out, hit the front entering the last 200, and outstayed Dare To Speak by five lengths.

RACE 4-OVERNIGHT ALLOWANCE DIV.I (3YOS&UP) 1000 METRES/5FURLONGS STRAIGHT Nuclear Flight and Ras Emanuel disputed the lead on the stand side, with the former always going the better. Once off the bridle Nuclear Flight found the necessary finishing speed to hold off the challenge from Ras Emanuel by 1 1/2 lengths.

RACE 5-MAIDEN CONDITION (TWO-YEAROLDS) 1300METRES/6 1/2FURLONGS Bold Aflair, pursued by the promising King Tafari throughout, remained clear inside the last 200 metres to beat him by 3 lengths.

RACE 6-OVERNIGHT ALLOWANCE DIV. II (3YOS&UP) 1000 METRES/5FURLONGSS STRAIGHT Improving K D Flyer broke very sharply and led on the stand, with Disability Charm delivering a challenge approaching the distance and Orpheus only making mild progress more towards the far side. K D Flyer was really in unbeatable condition at the weights and galloped to a 3-length victory.

RACE 7-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE IV (5YOS&UPWARDS/NW3) 1000 METRES/5FURLS ROUND Prince Kamali was always prominent in pursuit of Storming Flyer, who fell back tamely in the upper stretch. Going clear approaching the distance, Prince Kamali ran out an easy winner in the end over Big Paul and Cat’s Rigger.

RACE 8-$350-300,000 CLAIMING (3-YEAROLDS& UPWARDS) 1300 METRES/6 1/2FURLONGS Perfect Asset set a strong pace, pursued by Foot Soldier to the distance, while Luana and Trini Magic were held up in mid-pack. Trini Magic entered the last 200 metres with the lead but was denied by the well-timed finishing rush of Luana.

RACE 9-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE V (4YOS&UPWARDS/NW2) 1500 METRES/7 1/2FURLONGS Paintthistownred was the first to show but had unwelcome attention from Colt Of Arms and Perfecttrublemekka from 700 metres out. Helena was not well away but was only briefly the backmarker. Galloping strongly through the field, Helena joined the leaders turning for home and just outlasted Reason’s strong, late burst of energy.

RACE 10-RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE II (3-YEAR-OLDS/NW2) 1000 METRES/5FURLONGS ROUND Golden Destiny and Formal Gladiator sprinted together to the top of the stretch but neither was able to deal with Storm Born’s well-timed challenge at the distance. Entering the final 200 metres Storm Born, although off the course from April, ran on gamely to just deny the strong finish of the promising Resurgence, who was having only his second career start.
