Fun-filled We Inspire Brunch staged at Holiday Inn

It was a sea of orange-clad women sharing laughter, tears, inspiration and fun inside the Rose Hall Ballroom at Holiday Inn Resort in St James for the second staging of We Inspire Women Brunch – Montego Bay last Sunday.

The event brought together a wide cross- section of women with four keynote speakers sharing their personal stories of inspiration, life lessons and motivation as they created a space for comradery and networking.

Executive director of the Jamaica Intensive Reading Clinic Santana Morris was the first to share.

She spoke on the topic ‘Distractions that Derail Destiny’ and was followed by Gail Abrahams vice-president of marketing and sponsorship at Supreme Ventures Ltd. Abrahams spoke on ‘Sowing Seeds of Sisterhood,’ while Ann-Dawn Young Sang, president and CEO of Supreme Ventures Ltd, followed and delved into the topic ‘The Journey from the Old Me to The New Me’. Alysia Moulton-White, assistant vice-president, Group Marketing, Sagicor Group, capped off the session with ‘Release for Renewal’.

We Inspire Women is a part of the We Inspire Jamaica initiative, founded by Cortia Bingham-McKenzie. The venture also includes We Inspire Girls to Be Strong Women School Tour, aimed at giving girls an opportunity to sharpen their emotional intelligence and building potential.

Sunday’s event was sponsored by Elle and Vire, Foska Oats, Lasco Oral Care, Lasco Curves, JMMB, Special K, The Jamaica Observer, Neutrogena, Kendel Tea and Ashley Furniture Store.
