Montego Bay Orchid Club stages successful show
The Montego Bay Orchid Club staged its 28th annual Orchid Show and Sale under the theme: ‘Orchids… Nature’s Gems’ at Pier One in Montego Bay last weekend.
There was a wide variety of orchids, pots, fertilisers and other orchid-related items on sale at the two-day event.
President of the club, Audrey McIntosh, said the show was a success in spite of challenges faced.
“We had a great team, and they did well,” said McIntosh, adding that “all the money we made from the show goes into charity”.
She is hoping that next year’s staging, which will also be held at Pier One, will be bigger and better.
