Unidentified man shot dead in Steer Town
ST ANN, Jamaica —Detectives assigned to the St Ann’s Bay Police Station are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified man, whose body was found in vicinity of a construction site in Steer Town, St Ann last night.
The body is of dark complexion, slim build and is about 5 feet 6 inches long.
Reports are that residents heard explosions about 9:30 pm and alerted the police. On the arrival of the lawmen the body was found on the roadway with gunshot wounds.
Investigators are now appealing to anyone with information that can assist them in their investigations to contact the St Ann’s Bay Criminal Investigations Branch at 876-972-2209, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
