ONLINE READERS COMMENT: Do something about the filthy state of Spanish Town
Dear Editor,
We the citizens of the old capital Spanish Town are tired of the filthy state and conditions of the streets/roadways we have to walk, ride and drive on.
Yes, some residents practice poor hygiene and dump garbage on the streets, but other municipalities — including the current capital’s local authorities — somehow manage to keep the streets and surroundings clean.
We can only take it that those whose specific job it is to do so in the former capital just don’t care.
