Heights FC seek return to top
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Heights FC will return to the top of the points tables in Zone Two of the St James Football Association Sandals Resorts International Major League today if they can beat MoBay City FC in their return game at the UDC Field. The game is set to start at 3:30 pm.
Heights FC, who drew 2-2 against MoBay City FC in the first round, are tied with Cambridge FC on 15 points, both from eight games played. Heights FC trail only due to an inferior goal difference.
MoBay City FC are in third place on 11 points, and a win today would see them close the gap on the leaders.
Heights FC will be seeking to return to winning ways after being upset by Montego Bay Boys Club two weeks ago. It was their first loss of the season, snapping their seven-game unbeaten run.
Also today, Irwin FC, in second place in Zone One, will seek their second win over Melbourne Mind Game when they meet at Irwin High School.
Irwin FC are on 14 points, four behind leaders Lilliput Rovers, while Melbourne Mind Game are in fourth place with 11 points.
