Chris Marshall moves centre stage
Chris Marshall is pleased with the response to his single, Tu y Yo. It features Brazilian singer-songwriter Anitta.
“Anitta is basically the biggest female in Latin music right now. This song will be on her new studio album Kisses, and this is an amazing song which is getting a big buzz on radio in the US. I am expecting really great things in the future for this song,” said the singjay.
Released on April 5, 2019 on the Warner Music Brazil label, Tu y Yo has already racked up more than 8.6 million views on YouTube.
The singjay, whose real name is Adrian Christopher Marshall, was born and raised in St Catherine. He said he was always drawn to music. In 2006, he co-produced Sean Paul’s Temperature.
More than a decade later, Chris Marshall is intent on making a name for himself as a singjay. He is signed to Rich Music Inc.
“I just want to continue to create music that is true to the message from my humble beginnings, and the passion behind dancehall music that is heard around the world,” he said.
