No scalpels…yet
Dressed in scrubs personalised son of Dr Zwade Marshall, three-yearold Sule Marshall recently got his first rounds of the physician’s life in and out of theatre. No scalpels yet though. It was Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day in the USA on April 25, and pain management specialist at Alliance Spine and Pain Center in Atlanta Zwade Marshall was only too happy to play tour guide. Sule’s baby sister Nyla, 17 months, spent her day discussing legal opinions with mom Roshal Erskine Marshall, associate general counsel at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. The Marshalls are Caribbean born, he from Guyana and she from Jamaica. National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is a non-profit educational programme that exposes children to their parents’ professions, future job possibilities and the value of education.
