#Doha2019: McLeod moves into 110 hurdles final
Omar McLeod of Jamaica led Heat Two of the semi-finals in
the men’s 110 hurdles at the World Championships in Doha, Qatar from start to
finish, to ease into the final later on Wednesday.
McLeod clattered the third hurdle but held his composure
and form to continue the rest of the race smoothly to win, while easing down in
the final five metres.
McLeod clocked 13.08 seconds with Pascal Martinot-Lagarde of
France finishing second in 13.12 and Wenjun Xie of China third in 13.22.
Only the top two in each of the three semi-finals heats
automatically qualify for the final, with the other two spots being completed
by times.
