TAJ online services suspended this weekend

Portmore Tax Office to be closed Saturday

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) has advised that its eServices will be suspended this weekend to facilitate routine maintenance on its Tax Portal (online services).

The process is schedule to begin at 7:00 pm Friday and last until 6:00 am Monday.

TAJ said that during the period, taxpayers will not be able to access any online service, whether to make payments or file taxes.

Persons will however, still be able to get general information through the tax website at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm.

Additionally, the Portmore Tax Office will be closed on Saturday to facilitate the system maintenance activity, as well as the observance of the National Heroes’ Day Holiday Weekend.

TAJ said normal operations will resume on October 22, 2019.
