Minister Shaw attends China International Import Exposition
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, Audley Shaw, is now in Shanghai, China to attend the second China International Import Exposition (CIIE).
The minister is part of a delegation, headed by Prime Minister, Andrew Holness and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Kamina Johnson Smith. Other members of the delegation include JAMPRO president, Diane Edwards, as well as members of the private sector.
The CIIE will run from November 4-7 and Jamaica was invited to participate as a Guest Country of Honour, the Industry Ministry said.
According to the Ministry, in addition to attending the CIIE, the delegation will engage in bilateral talks to further Jamaica’s economic growth agenda.
