The next edition of charity series Solar All-Inclusive Breakfast Party is scheduled for the Constant Spring Golf Club in Kingston tomorrow. Start time is 6:00 am.

Now in its sixth staging, to date the party series has raised more than $2.5m for Cornwall Regional Hospital. Sunday’s event will be the first edition outside of Montego Bay. This year, part proceeds will go to the Jamaica Mental Health Advocacy Network (JaMHAN).

Steffan-Chad Haughton, director of Montego Bay-based entertainment outfit Antidote Entertainment — event organisers, is pleased with the brand’s growth.

“We at Antidote Entertainment are extremely proud of our achievements with the Solar brand; over only three short years since inception, and by far our biggest milestone has been our “Let’s Rave for Charity” initiative. This is an inseparable part of the Solar brand and, in the very same way that the Montego Bay events gave back to our city, we think it is only right to do the same with a charity based in Kingston. After quite a bit of research and discussions, we happily decided to partner with JamHAN” said Haughton.

“Our partnership with the Jamaica Mental Health Advocacy Network has given us the opportunity stay true with our donations to the medical field. It is important to focus on mental health as your mental health can affect your physical health. They both go hand in hand towards healthier citizens and building a better Jamaica,” Haughton added.

The organisers are promising a premium event.

“We have always set out to host a great event with quality entertainment incorporating the all-inclusive concept and adding the charity element. Kingston is going to be a step up from every event before in terms of execution, décor and the experience for patrons. We have refined all the best elements of Solar and combined them for what promises to be an amazing event. We are going to totally transform the venue and patrons will get party favours and as usual the food will be awesome,” Haughton expressed.

DJs Jigga, Ashile, Nicco, Bishop Escobar, Marlon Musique and ZJ Sparks are down for selecting duties.
