Weekly Round-up: Singh is Miss World… Man killed while holding baby… Fraser-Pryce aims for double
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Twenty-three-year-old Toni-Ann Singh made history on Saturday by becoming the fourth Jamaican to be crowned Miss World.
On Wednesday, 24-year-old Shevon Davidson was shot and killed while clutching a one-year-old baby to his chest in Harbour View in a shooting incident that left another man injured.
And Jamaican track and field sprinter Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce on Sunday confirmed that she will be seeking the 100m-200m double at the Tokyo Olympics in Japan next year.
