St Thomas businessman shot and killed at his business place
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Arju Balani, well known businessman in the St Thomas capital of Morant Bay was shot and killed at his business place yesterday. He was 55-years-old.
It is being reported that in the afternoon, Balani and members of his staff were approached by a masked gunman travelling on foot at the variety store where Balani conducted his business.
Balani was shot during what the police say was a robbery attempt and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Balani’s staff members were able to escape.
