Weather in Jamaica: Brace for showers this afternoon
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Meteorological Service of Jamaica anticipates showers and isolated thunderstorms across sections of most parishes on Thursday afternoon.
For the morning, the forecast is that there will be isolated showers across eastern parishes, while partly cloudy elsewhere.
The forecast for Thursday night is partly cloudy.
The maximum temperature expected for Kingston is 34 degrees Celsius, while Montego Bay is expected to also hit a high of 34 degrees. There is no marine warning at this time.
There is presently a trough across the island that is expected to remain over the next few days.
