Foota Hype’s brother killed in gunmen crossfire
Foota Hype is in mourning after his brother was shot and killed in the community of Cassava Piece in St Andrew on Thursday (June 24).
The outspoken selector took to social media to express his sorrow at the passing of his elder brother.“R.I.P Rohan aka Shortman walk good brother,” he wrote in a post on his Instagram account. He added the caption “I can see clearly the devil is after my soul which he will never have.”
The police report that forty-seven-year-old block maker Rohan Rose aka ‘Bourbon’ of a Kingston 8 address was shot and killed on Thursday at about 5:55pm.
According to the reports, he was walking along the roadway during a time when gunmen were trading bullets. He was hit and taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police were alerted and the scene was processed and they are currently carrying out their investigations into the matter.
Since the news broke condolences have been pouring in for Foota Hype and his family especially from his fellow players in the entertainment industry.
Demarco commented “Condolences mi bredda” while Nuffy wrote “Condolences mi gee sorry fi hear such thing about your brother. Just gwaan wul up mi know u nuh feel the same as the day before because a yuh blood drop, stay sting mi gee”.
Meanwhile, reggae group Morgan Heritage also expressed their condolences. “So sorry for you loss brother, condolences from our family,” their comment read.
