Gas prices down $0.25, diesel up $1.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, April 14, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $0.25, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $190.83 per litre and 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $195.84 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $198.20 per litre after an increase of $1.50, while ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $200.93 per litre after a decrease of $0.25.
Meanwhile, kerosene decreased in price by $0.25 and will be sold for $171.05 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $77.44 per litre, down by $2.50 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $88.11 per litre after a decrease of $3.06.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
