Tashne McLean goes for goal
Up-and-coming dancehall artiste Tashne McLean has a spiritual connection with music.
“No matter what I am doing I’m always singing or listening to music, I have been drawn to music since I was a little girl attending church with my grandmother. That’s how it all began, and I’ve been singing ever since. I remember the days when I used to go karaoke and sing; I always got a great response from the audience,” she said.
The talented Negril native recently collaborated with dancehall deejay Sudu Mos-I to record Goals.
“I’ve always wanted to be a professional recording artiste but I didn’t know what steps to take to get into the music business. Thank God my friend Sudu Mos-I recognised my talent and invited me to record a song with him called Goals. It’s not officially released yet but it’s getting a lot of airplay,” said Tashne McLean.
Produced by Ralston Barrett for Symphony B Records Goals is scheduled to be released on all digital platforms including iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon on April 15.
Tashne McLean is currently working on more projects for Symphony B Records.
“I’m recording some more collabs with Sudu Mos-I that we plan to release this summer. I’m working on some solo projects too. I want to put out a lot of music before the end of the year. I’m going after my goals, I’m not easing up,” said the artiste.
