CARIFTA Games: Davidson, Daley add to Jamaica’s medal tally in U-17 sprint hurdles
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Bryana Davidson and Jody-Ann Daley added two more medals to Jamaica’s tally after winning gold and bronze in the Girls’ Under-17 100-metre hurdles final at the 49th Carifta Games at the National Stadium.
Davidson, who has been in fine form this season, justified favouritism, as she left the field in her wake, stopping the clock in 13.50 seconds.
Daley, who struck the first barrier, recovered well for third in 14.45 seconds with US Virgin Islands’ Michelle Smith (14.31s) separating the Jamaicans.
